Natural remedy for moles, warts, skin marks, age spots and acne

Skin warts are soft, benign growths that occur in skin folds on the neck, armpits, chest, abdomen, and eyelids. These growths are weak collagen fibers and are located in the thick part of the skin.

Skin tags are very common and affect nearly half of the population, Kemanto Mokaya, MD, told Healthline. He says it’s more common in older people, overweight people, and people with diabetes.

These skin lesions are usually harmless, but can be painful if they get on jewelry or clothing. If these growths are difficult, you can get help. Here are some home remedies, over-the-counter drugs, and surgeries to get rid of stretch marks.

Home remedies to remove skin tags

Skin tags do not usually require treatment or medical attention. If you decide to remove the label, you can remove it along with the products from the medicine cabinet or kitchen. Most home remedies compress the labels and dry them until they fall off. tea tree oil

Antiviral and antifungal tea tree oil is safe to apply to the skin when diluted in a carrier oil.

Wash the affected area first. Then use a cotton swab or Q-tip to gently rub the cream into the mark. The area is cordoned off at night. Repeat this procedure over several nights until the tag dries and falls off.

banana peel

Don’t throw away old banana peels, especially if they have a tag on them. Banana peel also dries out skin warts. This may be due to its antioxidant properties.

Place the banana peel on the tag and cover with a bandage. Do this every night until the tag falls off.

Apple vinegar

Soak a cotton swab in apple cider vinegar and apply it to the wart. Wrap the area with a bandage for 15-30 minutes, then rinse the skin. Repeat daily for several weeks.

The acidity of apple cider vinegar breaks down the tissue around the skin plaque and causes it to fall off.

Vitamin E

Aging promotes the formation of skin tags. Vitamin E is an antioxidant that fights wrinkles and keeps skin healthy, so applying liquid vitamin E to marks can help stop growth within two days.

Simply massage the oil into the mark and surrounding skin.

Garlic helps improve the appearance of the skin by reducing inflammation. To remove skin warts naturally, apply crushed garlic to them, then cover the area with a bandage and leave overnight.

Wash the area in the morning. Repeat until the mark decreases and disappears.

OTC skin tag products

In addition to home remedies, various over-the-counter (OTC) products sold in supermarkets and pharmacies can safely remove skin warts.

Freezing kits use cryotherapy (using very low temperatures) to destroy unwanted skin tissue.

“Harmless lesions like papillomas require temperatures of -4°F to -58°F to destroy them,” says Mokaya.

He recommends finding an over-the-counter or skin mark removal product that, when used correctly, can reach the lowest temperature possible. Finally, Mokaya notes that topical creams and cryotherapy can cause irritation and contact dermatitis, but are only effective in the short term.

When should you see a doctor?

Other skin conditions such as jaundice and moles may look like papillomas. Some moles can be cancerous, so it’s best to see a doctor. Your dermatologist or family doctor can diagnose skin warts. They will do it in person, but telemedicine may also be an option.

Most skin growths are not cancerous, but if yours looks abnormal or suspicious, your doctor may take a biopsy as a precaution.
